"A Kosher Home, A Proper Home"

In 1995 Jenny made a video with the assistance of the Little City Visual Arts department. It was unscripted, they just let her go. All comments and dialogue were by Jenny in her own words. The video shows Jenny saying the prayers over the wine and the candles, and she demonstrates how to make matzah balls. In addition, Jenny discusses her hopes and dreams for the future. She wants to have a Kosher Home, a Proper Home [lyrics from the play, "Fiddler on the Roof"]. In short, she wants what everybody wants, a happy home and a big family.

Little City submitted the video in a contest sponsored by the CITV Chicago Instructional TV Foundation. The contest was open not just to disabled people, but to all high school students in the Greater Chicago Area which probably amounts to a figure of over six hundred thousand people. Jenny's video won an award! which consisted of a three hundred dollar cash prize as well as a beatiful trophy. All of the other winning video's were about going somewhere, like a trip to the fire station; but Jenny's video was about her hopes and dreams for the future.
